About Youngleaf Co., Ltd.

Japanese Womenswear Sewing Factory in Gifu | Sample Making from One Piece, Small-Batch Production, and Fast Turnaround

Young Leaf Co., Ltd. is a sewing factory based in Gifu, Japan, specializing in womenswear. Founded in 1960, the company draws on decades of sewing expertise and manufacturing experience to handle a wide range of projects, from sample development and small-batch production to bulk manufacturing.

Its main product categories include womenswear such as jackets, suits, coats, and blouses. In addition to garments with standard specifications, the factory can take on technically challenging projects, including garments for Paris fashion shows and stage costumes. With sample development accounting for a significant share of its work, the company accepts orders starting from a single piece, making it a potential partner for new product development and design testing.

Fast turnaround is another key strength. The company aims to provide sample production and next-day delivery for projects in the Gifu area, with overnight, two-day turnaround options also available for urgent projects in the Tokyo and Osaka areas, subject to consultation. It strives to accommodate same-day sample requests where possible, depending on the specifications and schedule.

In 2023, Young Leaf completed a new factory equipped with automated cutting machinery, fabric spreading equipment, and CAD systems. These facilities support an integrated production workflow covering cutting, sewing, and finishing. The company serves clients seeking quality-focused manufacturing with flexible order quantities and delivery schedules.

In addition to commercial apparel manufacturing, the company also offers clothing alterations for individuals, as well as custom name-label production and attachment. Apparel brands and businesses can consult Young Leaf about sample development, small-batch orders, bulk production, and garments with specialized specifications.
