・Pattern making
・Sewing specification creation
・Toile making
・Grading
・Data conversion
・Nesting (marker creation)
・Pattern output

Using apparel CAD (Toray ACS CREACOMPO II), we create high-precision patterns (paper patterns) and handle a full range of items, from men's heavy outerwear to women's wear, children's wear, and cut-and-sewn garments. With experience working in manufacturing sites (sewing factories), we are well-versed in all aspects of authentic garment making, including the sewing of tailored jackets.

In addition to toile creation, nesting, and grading, we also handle specification creation using Adobe Illustrator. We provide flexible and immediate support for garment making, such as pattern revisions due to design changes and paper pattern output from inkjet plotters.

We have also begun working on the production of simulated samples using 3D CAD (which we call virtual toiles).

We can also create patterns and provide estimates from images or illustrations.

A price list and portfolio (50MB PDF file) are also available.

Track Record & Expertise

・Corporate Background: 10 years of experience as an in-house pattern maker specializing in men’s formal and casual wear.

・Independent Practice: Established my own studio in 2012. Since then, I have provided technical patterns for a broad spectrum of the industry—ranging from intricate runway collection pieces for designer brands to high-volume manufacturing (lots of 1,000,000 pieces) for global markets.

・Creative Philosophy: As a menswear creator, I also manage a private label where I handcraft garments from scratch. My expertise covers the full production cycle: design, pattern-making, and sewing.

Production Background & Philosophy

I am based in Edogawa, Tokyo—a district renowned for its high concentration of sewing factories. Being immersed in an environment where I receive direct, real-time feedback from the production floor allows me to constantly evolve and refine my techniques to meet the most demanding manufacturing standards.

My approach is informed by a comprehensive career that spans technical guidance for overseas factories, production management, and even retail sales. This holistic perspective allows me to anticipate potential issues during the pattern-making stage, providing proactive solutions that ensure a seamless transition from design to mass production.

Compliance and Security

For your peace of mind, I am a certified member of the Professional & Parallel Career Freelance Association in Japan. Through this professional body, I carry professional liability insurance that covers potential risks, including:

・Product defects (indemnity for flaws in deliverables)
・Information leakage
・Copyright infringement

This ensures a secure and accountable partnership for all my clients, from independent designers to global corporations.

Infrastructure & Technical Support System

・Advanced Data Management & Business Continuity

Cloud-Based Security: All project data is securely managed and archived in the cloud. This redundancy ensures that your valuable designs are protected against any unforeseen data loss or emergencies.

Dual-System Redundancy: I maintain a high-availability environment with both desktop and laptop workstations. This setup guarantees that business operations continue without interruption, even in the event of hardware failure.

・Transparent & Real-Time Collaboration

Real-Time Progress Tracking: By utilizing modern task management tools, I provide full transparency into the production process. You can check the real-time status of your project at any time.

Visualized Communication History: All project information and communication history are clearly documented and accessible online, ensuring a seamless and accountable exchange of information from start to finish.

・High-Precision 3D Simulation

Virtual Toile (3D CAD): I utilize advanced 3D CAD technology to create "Virtual Toiles"—digital garment simulations. This allows us to visualize the drape and fit accurately before a single piece of fabric is cut, effectively bridging the gap between design vision and physical reality for superior sample accuracy.

Terms and Conditions

Product Categories & Expertise

Wide Range of Apparel
I provide pattern-making services for a diverse range of categories, including:

・Menswear & Womenswear

・Kidswear

・Pet Apparel

I can handle almost any apparel item across these categories, with the exception of knitwear (fully fashioned knits).

Core Specialization: Heavy Garments
My primary expertise and greatest strength lie in the development of "heavy garments" (outerwear). I have extensive experience in creating high-precision patterns for complex items such as:

・Tailored Jackets

・Coats

・Workwear & Outerwear

By combining my deep understanding of structured tailoring with modern production techniques, I ensure that even the most complex designs are translated into patterns with superior fit and functionality.

Business Terms & Payment Policy

Policy for New Clients
To ensure a secure and smooth commencement of our partnership, I kindly request that all new clients provide full prepayment of the estimated amount before work begins.

This policy is in place to prevent potential transactional issues and to allow me to dedicate my full resources to your project immediately upon confirmation. I appreciate your understanding and cooperation in maintaining a professional and reliable workflow.

Design Policy for Non-Designer Clients

Mandatory 3D Simulation (Virtual Toile) Process

For individual clients or those without a professional design background who request original designs, I require the creation of a 3D Virtual Toile as a mandatory first step.

Why this is necessary:
When design instructions are abstract or conceptual, the process of translating them into a technical pattern often involves extensive creative problem-solving that goes beyond standard pattern-making. The 3D Virtual Toile allows us to:

Visualize the concept: Instantly see the silhouette and drape to ensure it aligns with your vision.

Refine the design: Adjust details digitally to eliminate ambiguity before moving to the technical stage.

Optimize resources: Avoid the high cost and time of multiple physical prototypes.

For original designs by non-designers, even if a physical muslin (sheeting) sample is requested, it will only be produced after the 3D Virtual Toile has been finalized and approved.

Exceptions:
This mandatory 3D process does not apply to projects where instructions are specific and technically clear, such as:

Replicating an existing garment.

Making minor modifications to an existing sample.

Providing a complete, professional-grade technical specification sheet (Spec Sheet).
