Sponging is an essential preparatory process performed before garment sewing. We apply different heat-and-steam techniques according to the fabric composition, including wool, cotton, polyester, and blended materials, while using vibration to help relax the fabric.

This combination of steam treatment and vibration helps stabilize the fabric's dimensions, control shrinkage and stretching, and improve its texture and hand feel.
