Drawing on decades of hat-making experience and skilled craftsmanship, Shimada produces a wide range of headwear, including caps, hats, hunting caps, newsboy caps, and straw hats. The company can also help clients develop products from initial concepts, proposing suitable designs and materials even when specifications have not yet been finalized. Production using customer-supplied fabrics, vintage deadstock materials, and unconventional materials is also available.

Beyond headwear, Shimada offers OEM/ODM manufacturing of fashion accessories and leather goods, including bags, pouches, wallets, business card holders, pass cases, and key cases. Small-batch production is available from just one piece. Depending on order volume and cost requirements, production can be arranged in Japan or China. Through its network of partner factories, the company has a production capacity of approximately 8,500 pieces per month in Japan and 50,000 pieces per month overseas.

Quality control includes dual inspections using metal detection equipment and visual checks, followed by careful finishing and packaging. Shimada supports a broad range of projects, from launching new brands to developing original products for established labels.
